VideoLAN developers officially announces the release of beta version of VLC Media Player for Windows Phone with new features. Well you know that VideoLAN earlier announced that they soon going to provide VLC Media Player for Windows Phone devices, but till yet only beta version was available for Windows Phone devices and now the community has just finished a stable VLC Player for Windows Phone devices.

VLC Media Player is quite popular among desktop users and now it becomes one of the most popular media player on smartphones too. VideoLAN community planning to increase their popularity so they are providing VLC for almost all platforms. Well if we talk about VLC for Windows Phone then the community still tries to resolve some critical issues before releasing it for Windows Phone devices.

The actual confirmation about arriving VLC Player in Windows Phone App center is not yet revealed but we hope that the updated VLC Player might be available for Windows Phone devices by the end of this week. According to Thomas Nigro, developer at VideoLAN, the first beta version of VLC Player will be delivered to some people who were accepted in the program few weeks ago.

Before releasing it for public usage, this updated beta version of VLC Player will go for testing phase about which no information has revealed yet. The development team is quite confident that they won't find any bug issue in this release, so it will be soon available for Windows Phone devices.
