Manjaro Xfce 0.8.11 RC2 available for Download with few Updates & Fixes
Manjaro development team officially announces the release of 2nd release candidate of Manjaro Xfce 0.8.11 flavor with new changes and fixes. This is another maintenance release which primarily includes fixes for previous RC release.
According to official announcement, Manjaro Xfce 0.8.11 RC2 comes with shortcut key updates along with addition of Menda cursor theme. This release includes updated Thunar with a fix so that preferred apps can remember it properly and also introduces support for polkit along with latest Pamac 2.0 development fixes/updates as well as multi-word AUR search fix.
Apart from these new additions, Manjaro Xfce 0.8.11 RC2 also includes minor fixes like fixed CUPS service which doesn't start, fixed keyboard layout issue with CLI installer, fixed lack of support for thumbnailing ODF docs and RAW images and fixed xfce4-notifyd theme warnings. You can also download the ISO Image of Manjaro Xfce 0.8.11 RC2 for your machine.

Manjaro Xfce 0.9.0 Pre1 available for Download with Calamares Framework Support
Manjaro XFCE development team officially announces the release of Manjaro XFCE 0.9.0 Pre1 distro with new features and updated applications. Well some of you already know that a small community developers already started developing next stable release of Manjaro XFCE. With this XFCE series, Manjaro Xfce tried to switch over to more modern graphical installer framework called Calamares. Also, review recent Linux Distro News to know what's new in them ?
According to official announcement, Manjaro Xfce 0.9.0 pre1 release comes with XFCE 4.11 series, linux318 kernel series and all other usual upstream updates of Manjaro. Manjaro 0.8.13 first Preview is available with XFCE 4.12 and Plasma 5.2.2
Manjaro development team officially announces the release of Manjaro 0.8.13-pre1 which is the first preview release of upcoming Manjaro 0.8.13 distro. This upcoming release might come with updated XFCE 4.12, Plasma 5.2.2, KDE Frameworks 5.8.0 and latest KDE Apps 14.12.3.
The Manjaro 0.8.13-pre1 KDE flavor receives migration to new, fully hardware-accelerated graphics stack centered around an OpenGL scenegraph. It also going to include Plasma which is built using Qt 5 and Frameworks 5. The Thunar file manager in Manjaro 0.8.13-pre1 now supports tabs, inverting selection, improves on location handling and shortcut side pane.
According to official announcement, Manjaro 0.8.13-pre1 comes with bootloader, refractor chroot.py, mount special dirs at the start of configure_system functions, calculate partition sizes using integer divisions, adds efi partition size when calculating root partition size and add gtk 3.16 compatibility.
Apart from these new features, Manjaro 0.8.13-pre1 also fixes several bugfixes such as fixed grub-install call, fix some typos in slides, fix bootloader crash, fix double-installation attempt of bootloader, fix broken creation of /home folder for user, fix crash when detecting ssd, fix forward labeling issue, fix slide order in check and fix translation issues. Manjaro 0.8.11 Xfce Preview released with Kernel 3.14 & Settings Manager
Manjaro community officially announces the release of Manjaro 0.8.11 Xfce with new features and updated applications. Well the community just provided sneak preview of upcoming stable Manjaro 0.8.11 Xfce distro. Few days ago, after the release of Manjaro 0.8.10 the team is actively opens the doors for development of next Manjaro 0.8.11 release and now community release the first preview of their upcoming Manjaro release.
According to official announcement, the community state that the upcoming Manajro 0.8.11 Xfce will include Calamares, a graphical installer which is not ready still in development. Teo is the lead developer for Calamares which might be included in next release. Also, review recent Linux Distro releases.

The recent released sneak preview of Manjaro 0.8.11 is basically taken from the unstable branch which mainly includes linux314, latest proprietary drivers and bunch of latest upstream packages. The developers also fixes some of the issues related with automatic partitioning. Manjaro 0.8.11 Preview 2 released with Kernel 3.14, KDE Themes, Office Suites
Manjaro development team officially announces the release of Manjaro 0.8.11 Preview 2 with new features. This preview is primarily based on fifth update pack which was released few days ago for Manjaro 0.8.11 Linux Distro. This is just a maintenance release which primarily released for testing purposes.
According to official announcement, Manjaro 0.8.11 Preview 2 comes with updated Linux Kernel 3.14 LTS series along with latest Mesa release and other free or proprietary drivers. This release also includes latest graphical tools which the team has developed to easily operate Manjaro in few clicks. Apart from this, Manjaro 0.8.11 Preview also includes octopi and pamac. You can also download ISO Image of Manjaro KDE 0.8.11 Preview 2 for your machine.
The main highlighted feature of this preview is the addition of new themes which are taken from KDE edition. It also includes latest Manjaro Settings Manager 0.2.3 which offers enhanced kernel and graphic driver management experience. Manjaro 0.8.11 Final released with Xfce 4.11, KDE5, Kernel 3.16 & Octopi 0.5
Manjaro development team officially announces the release of stable and final version of Manjaro 0.8.11 with new features. Well from previous RC releases, the team was quite focusing on common core requirements of Manjaro's broad user-base. The Xfce flavor of Manjaro 0.8.11 is considered as the flagship release for this year.
According to official announcement, the developers of Manjaro Xfce claims that they ship components from Xfce 4.11 series after having tested them in house and also ensures suitability for everyday use. The Manjaro Xfce 0.8.11 now uses LightDM for login management, display locking and user switching including custom integration for Xfce.
The Turkish Manjaro community state that Manjaro 0.8.11 KDE edition is one of the powerful, mature and feature-rich desktop environment with unique look and feel along with perks of Manjaro's latest tools.
